All members of the Church are called to continue the work of Jesus in proclaiming and being a sign of the kingdom of God. As such, all faithful members of the Church are called saints. In another sense, the term saints refer to those deceased members of the church who have led lives of heroic virtue and have been officially recognized (canonized) by the Church.
The purpose of this project is to research a saint of the Church. You will be randomly assigned the saint for your research. This project will be a major grade. The successful completion of this project requires you to:
1. Identify credible sources for research.
2. Present accurate and comprehensive information about your saint.
3. Transfer information to a iMovie
4. Present your project to the class when assigned.

- You will begin your research on Monday, May 5, 2014 on the iPAd. At the end of the class period, you must hand to me an index card with the following information included: Your name, Your class block, The name of your saint, Bibliography of at least 3 sources used for content ( wikipedia is not an acceptable source.
- The following information must be included on the iMovie
- Date and place of birth
- Date and place of death
- Background: family, education, work, etc.
- Vocation status: married, single, religious (order?)
- Influences on their life
- Description of their ministry
- Explanation of how their ministry made the kingdom of God a reality
- Canonized? Feast day? Patron saint?
- Any other significant information
- It is very important that your research is complete before we meet in the computer lab on Thursday, May 8, 2014 to complete the iMovie. You must be ready with the following:
- All content as above
- Minimum of 8 photos related to the saint
- A short introduction (approx 5 sentences) to record
- Embed the iMovie according to directions
- You must be prepared to record and embed your iMovie before leaving class on May 8. There will absolutely be no extensions given.
- You will be assigned at random to present your project to the class before the end of the semester. You must be able to answer questions about your saint. Project grades will be given only after all presentations are completed. All students will be tested on the content of all presentations: it is necessary for you to take notes and pay attention to all presentations!
